Hello, I saw the photo Ray posted on Facebook and things looked a bit "rocky" above Ghent. Anybody have an idea of what to expect this Saturday?

I'm anticipating similar conditions to last year...in which I went swimming. It seems like trouble to stay too much to the right after the last two rocks. I'm hoping to attack more in the middle. Any insight? I did inquire to Dale if the time would change back to 11 a.m. without the doubleheader. It will stay 10 a.m. to avoid further confusion. Loving the weekend forecast, good luck everyone!

We ran the George yesterday. Level was low side of medium, higher than in the photo and it will be higher still on Sat. , though not as high as last year. Agree that the section above Ghent can be tricky. Need to make several quick moves. In higher water, some run it on the right.

There once was a wizard from Belfast Who's boat was oft said to go real fast When ice caused him pain He conjured some rain And ran the St Georges at long last!

Others reside closer to Nantucket Only trained this week in a bucket But if the St. George is too low We'll have Ray run a hose 'Cause he lives near enough to adjust it!
Thanks for the report Ray. It helps a lot when I am trying to decide between arm floaties or elbow pads.

There once was a river ran straight With few of the bends keeled boaters hate But then came a storm that created a tangle So now its less your speed, more your angle And the rest will be up to fate.

If the water ends up being low hop onto the shore, boat in tow. A portage saves time and if it's not a crime it might help you win, place, or show!

It seemed so often the case each week driving place to place that my wallet got lighter; but now that I'm brighter I save 90 dollars a race! (Hey--this is kinda fun!)
