hey guys, are any of the remaining races more likely to have good water? (e machias, machias, medux, or union)? i did the kenduskeag as a way of thanking the city and showing support for the racing community, but I don't think I'd go through all that dragging again this year

Depends how much rain we get. Could be good this weekend. Piscataquis is another decent race. I'll try to remember to post Medux water level closer to race day. And keep watching the usgs water level site.

One thing with the Kenduskeag is that because it's such a huge production, race organizers don't have much flexibility in terms of changing the course. The Passy, Sou and Marsh all suffered from low water but were relatively drag free on their altered courses.
I confess a certain pride at running all 16.5 miles with <100cfs, I just hope we don't have to do it again.

The Piscataquis should still be on. I have not heard otherwise. It is a good alternative for those who do not want to brave the white water of the East Machias

I got a letter with an entry form. It's the 40th running, so maybe it'll be a bigger deal than normal.
