This is the clinic spoken about at PaddleSmart. Sometimes I mistakenly use MaCKRO and ACA-NE interchangeably.
Last year we tried to begin the clinic above six-mile falls, and, for a variety of reasons, it was a fiasco. So, this year we begin immediately below it. That said, some of us may paddle the falls before we head downstream, but doing so would not be part of the clinic.
The ACA waivers are to protect the participants and hosts, and their equipment. The associated event fee is $5. Other levels of membership are available, which cover all events hosted by ACA-NE (such as the Sebec WW race, the entire MaCKRO summertime flatwater Series, and the ACA nationals on the Dead River in July), all for a single fee.
Sorry for the confusion.

thanks, jeff! is this the little park that was just remodeled(new parking lot, shelter, trails) just before nelson street/Harlow? If so, it sounds like people are not paddling all the way to the sea-dog, is that right?
also, can we just fill out the forms and pay you in the park, before we go?
thanks john

You've got the right park--just upstream of the Harlow St bridge. No need to paddle the final bit, and the take-out at Shopping Cart is much more convenient.
ACA-NE forms will be available at the shuttle.
