I don't see any results since the Sheepscot, how am I suppose to stay informed? Now that I am in Florida, I like to see the results to see how people are doing, or if there are any new people racing.

Hi Kenny: good question. It can't be that it would take too long to tabulate the results as many races are now drawing fewer than 20 boats.

Fred, I nominate you as race result director. Thanks in advance for helping out

I could probably do that if people would send the results. Of course, if they are able to send results to me, I would think they could just as easily post them to this website themselves.

now you get it. The problem is the race directors NEVER send the results. It's not Ray's fault for not posting them, it's just they never get forwarded to MaCKRO. What MaCKRO needs is just someone who can contact the race directors to remind them that people really want to see them and that it is important for points series results.

Hey, wait a minute here--I never said anything about it being Ray's fault (or anyone's fault, for that matter); just that it ought to be a relatively easy thing for a race director to do--assuming they are online.

The bigger question is why is Kenny still in Florida??? The absence of results from FW races is one of several things that led to the proposal of a brand new, and fundamentally different, FW Series. I think Earl will be posting the minutes from our recent Annual Meeting sometime soon, and you'll be receiving a newsletter soon that summarizes (and asks for votes on) all of the proposals made at the Annual Meeting. In either or both of those you'll see the details of the proposed modifications to the WW Series and the proposed whole new FW Series. The meeting was GREAT, by the way, and highly productive. Thanks to everyone who found their way there, and it is hoped that even more people will attend next year's meeting.

Glad to hear the meeting was productive. Sorry I couldn't make it!
And no, it's not my fault. I've posted all the results that have been sent my way.

Back in ancient times (man, those bark and skin hulls were fast!) racers generally received mimeographed results in the mail a week or so after a race. Gave you something to study during the winter and keep your motivation up. Nowadays, that would be quite costly, but electronic communication is cheap for those who already own the machinery. Considering the high entry fees of some races, the directors really ought to put in the few hours it would take to post their results.
