“ As most of you probably know by now ACA New England is once again running the Souadabscook and Marsh stream races this year. Renee and Rick O’Donald have graciously volunteered to be race directors for the Souadabscook race on Sat. April 12 and Liliane and Bill Deighan have graciously volunteered to be race directors for the Marsh on Sunday April 13. This is a call to all MaCKRO members (and anyone else) for volunteers to help out with these races. The volunteers needed for Souadabscook are one or two for setup and registration and 4 for timing (two each at the end of the short course and long course), and one or two for the sweep boat. There are no sprints this year so both long and short course races will start at 11:00 A.M. Contact Renee O’Donald at concrete862@aol.com The volunteer needed for the Mash stream race are one person for registration, 4 people for timing, two each at the end of the short course and long course, and one person for cleanup at the snowmobile club. There are no sprints this year so both long and short course races will start at 12:00 noon. Contact Liliane Deighan at liliandeighan@gmail.com or Bill Deighan at lilbill@uninet.net If you are not racing in either of these races volunteering would be a great way to support the Maine “White Water” weekend. Thanks, Dan Baumert”
