MaCKRO is in desperate need of a Perception Wavehopper to be used as the training boat for our youth wildwater program. We have a top quality competition boat (Zastera Clipper) but we need an appropriate training boat for the program. A Wavehopper would be great, but used composite wildwater kayaks would be welcome, too. Please ask around and help find one (or two) for cheap. Thanks!!

Oh, man, Jeff. I have an old beater wildwater k1, but I've promised it to my sister. There used to be many of this style boat around the Bangor area, but they've been unseen for years; maybe a few will appear! Steve Moser donated a wildwater spec k1 a couple years ago. It is much tippier than a wildwater, but it would make a great practice boat. If you can paddle it, you can handle any wildwater. For the kayaks, though, it will be more important that they work on good paddle technique in a stable boat before they have to concentrate on keeping the boat upright. I'm hoping you'll give me a chance to try out your new wildwater (on flatwater, of course)!
