howdy. Is anybody doing practice runs down the penobscot for the ACA nationals? We've always gone left at Great Works and would like to learn how to hit the Center Line (through that small opening ledge). Also, is there a way to get to that shore river right to scout the last drop?

There will be groups running the race course most every weekend from now until the nationals. We did Old Town to Orono yesterday and Basin Mills to Veazie today. There is a group going tomorrow, contact Clayton. Any trips I do will be announced on the MaCKRO and Orono Paddlers FB pages. Scouting the right side of Great Works is easy right now as the water is quite low. howdy. Is anybody doing practice runs down the penobscot for the ACA nationals? thanks jeff: you mean scouting from the water I guess? paddling to a certain spot then walking along the shore? or can you get there on foot from the road?
