I'm looking for a tandem whitewater racing canoe - something fairly lightweight (60 pounds or less), fast, but also reasonably stable and durable. That's not too much to ask, right? Examples include the Jensen-designed Whitewater II and WWX, Wenonah Odyssey (lighter layups), possibly the WWXX or Sawyer Charger. And if you are interested in selling one of the few Woodsheds that were produced, please let me know. I'll consider a boat that need some repair work, but I'd prefer a boat that is in raceable condition. I'm budgeting $1000, but if you have the boat of the world, let me know.

Gary,
Figures! Last week I finally gave up trying to find something used, and ordered a Wenonah Odyssey. I learned that Wenonah still makes it even though the model isn't on the company's website. The rub is that they don't ship east until they have 70+ orders, so there is a chance we won't have it before Nationals. And, of course, we'll have limited practice time no matter what.
I may give you a call anyway. I know for a fact we aren't the only paddlers looking.
