Hello everyone. We are still pulling the fw schedule together. would like to get a full race schedule printed and available for distribution at races and elsewhere before the st geo. Email me here with any race info you may have.
we dont seem to have a lot of races compared with earlier years.

we are tentatively planning a fw state championship for the end of June.

the messalonskee is paddleable. anybody want to go for a workout this weekend? We could combine witha xc ski on the colby trails

In John's message he mentions a FW Championship Race in late June. Here is the idea he and I have discussed (and since we're the FW committee, we may just have a go at it).
Event: Maine Flatwater Championship
Date: Sunday, June 30th.
Venue: Kennebec River, from Solon to Madison
Rationale: Sunday, June 30th is the day after the Lower Dead ACA NE WW Championship Race, which is in the same neck of the woods. We're thinking that MaCKRO could advertise "a Championship Weekend," complete with a banquet and group camping Saturday night somewhere convenient. Post comments!
