For anyone planning on coming to Houlton for the Meduxnekeag race, you might want to bring your beater boat. Water level is quite low with no rain in sight. Last year was very low; this year could be similar.

I paddled it on Monday and didn't hit anything (surprisingly), but after the week we've had, I expect a few boats will be dragging bottom come Saturday. Hopefully nothing like last year's Kendusk!
