The Bangor YMCA (new organizer for these races) has put up a Facebook page where you can get information, invite friends, and find out who else is going. The page is at: www.facebook.com/events/448887205185335/

Confused by this link. Times of each race? Which one? I am not a fb user and don't have or want an account. Is the information on the MaCKRO race schedule accurate?
Thanks,
George

Thanks, George The information on the MaCKRO site is accurate and will be updated if there are any changes. Don't worry about not accessing the Facebook page. That is just an additional means to spread the same news. The Bangor YMCA is, I believe, also planning to put up a page on their website that has information on the races, but that hasn't happened yet.

With stream levels rising from this week's rains, the Sou and Marsh should be looking good by the weekend.

As a tip to people interested in the point series, the Sou and the Marsh sprints and downriver races count as separate events, so basically there are four of the 11 races in the series happening this weekend.
These are challenging rivers, but with short course options, there's no reason not to come out and paddle. Don't forget your helmet.
