This is a statement, and a question for you, Ray. I really like this new forum structure, but I also think it is more cumbersome than the old one. I used to like being able to simply scroll though recent postings to see what was on peoples' minds, regardless of the topic. Is there a way in this new structure that all new postings would appear briefly (say for 5 days) in a general list, after which they would be automatically dumped into the appropriate forum? In my opinion, that would keep the best of the old structure, but ultimately provide the type of organization this improved forum provides.

One way to easily read through all recent posts is to scroll down to the InfoCenter near the bottom of the page. Clicking the link there, "Read the 10 Most Recent Messages" will allow you to do exactly what you said. I also put a "Recent Posts" link up in the "Paddling Quick Links" box at the top of the main page to the site.As an alternative, we might reduce the number of boards and threads here. (Message Boards like this can seem pretty complicating on your first few visits. I do appreciate your feedback and look forward to hearing from others as well.
