Below is a copy of an email recently sent to those on the MaCKRO mailing list: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Greetings--Many of you probably received the recent MaCKRO News which contained the 2011 membership form, but I wanted to send you a copy this way, too. Please take the time to update your membership for 2011 now such that our new membership committee may get solidly to work. New for 2011: --Please consider the check-off for receiving electronic newsletters. --There is a change in the Group Membership process. Every member of a paddling group needs to submit their own membership form, signed by the group's advisor/leader. --There is also now a Lifetime FAMILY Membership option. This membership covers two adults of a family for life, and all minors of the family (residing at the same address) until the age of 18. Looking Ahead: --There will be a News coming out in mid-March containing the spring race schedule and information about a MaCKRO boat repair and outfitting work session. --The whitewater nationals return to the Deerfield River in Mass. in mid-July. Let's make sure MaCKRO has a huge presence there! FYI--there will be a special Jr/Sr race for adults with kids under 10 so be sure to bring the family! --Our website (MaCKRO.org) is being updated this month with 2011 details. Check it regularly for new information. Cheers, Jeff

Though I know at times I'm not with it I don't see anywhere on the membership form that shows the dues for a single 1 year membership. I sent in the same as I have for the last couple of years but it might be handy for a new mwmber to know.

But on the form it states: "There is no set fee for these memberships but donation is requested. Please be as generous as you see fit."
